His insight, is profound. I should like to have all his works, in .pdf format, if possible, to recommend, to my many friends, throughout the whole world. Blessings, L. Thanks for sharing the link to your blog. You do a nice job picking a quote (which in Jordan's books is hard since there are so many excellent quotes) and complementing it with your own thoughts. I've written a series of posts expanding on the incredible material in his "The Crown of Individuality" here: http://gregghake.com beginning with "The Crown of Individuality I" and thought you and your readers might be interested in taking a look.Gregg Hakehttp://www.gregghake.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-696817881234121652.post-22087877223739423432011-06-27T21:01:46.634-06:002011-06-27T21:01:46.634-06:00When I read that Crown of Individuality I had a si...When I read that Crown of Individuality I had a similar thought so for me its almost a toss up. Normal Vincent Peale has written a number of great books including the very popular The Power of Positive thinking. I also like The Little Prince by Saint-Exupery and Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. Believing Christ by Stephen Robinson is very uplifting and inspiring. Return from Tomorrow by George Ritchie provides an interesting perspective on life. I'll let you know as soon as I upload the marriage book. Thanks for taking an interest in WGJ. He was an amazing man. I've researched literally hundreds of articles that reference him during the 1890's and early 1900's.Rod Mannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10241182790476070316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-696817881234121652.post-83091203912089520622011-06-27T09:48:12.594-06:002011-06-27T09:48:12.594-06:00Well, thanks for uploading them.

I've skimmed through The Power of Truth, and saving that for last.

I've enjoyed The Majesty of Calmness, but, I have to say The Crown of Individuality is my favorite -- hands down. It is -- to me -- the most powerful and well written one. The value it offers is concrete, usable, and very, very insightful.

I've sort of been hitting rough patches, The Crown of Individuality, as well as WGJ's other works, have been mighty helpful.

Thanks again for uploading. I look forward to reading more of your blog, as well as about you.

Could you please email me or notify me when you upload that book? I would definitely read it. Also, what other works from other influential writers do you recommend along the lines of WGJ?

Askaniceguy@me.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-696817881234121652.post-77421914576388224102011-06-26T09:52:42.539-06:002011-06-26T09:52:42.539-06:00Glad you are enjoying it. I'd be interested in knowing which of WGJ's books you like the most. For me it is often the last one I read. Funny thing is that WGJ was elect...Most likely not. Funny thing is that WGJ was elected permanent secretary at the initial meeting of the Governors Conference in Jan 1910 and released (or fired) as secretary in Sep 1911. I think it was because some of the Governors (or at least a couple of them) did not want a leader with strong opinions as secretary. At least two wanted to be the next president (Harmon from Ohio and Wilson from New Jersey) and I think they viewed the organization as yet another means to gain visibility. WGJ's agenda of trying to reduce the power of the federal government was not really something they wanted to pursue. Why would a governor who aspired to be president want to have the power of that office reduced? Wilson was certainly no Washington, Adams or Jefferson.Rod Mannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10241182790476070316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-696817881234121652.post-88841859906042028142011-03-09T16:25:48.805-07:002011-03-09T16:25:48.805-07:00I like this guy.
